Untamed Southern Africa

From wild savannahs to vibrant cities — a journey of discovery and contrast.

Southern Africa doesn’t choose a single identity. It holds wildness and polish, rhythm and restraint. Begin in Sabi Sand, where dawn breaks over the bush and the world stirs into motion. Game drives reveal a rhythm both ancient and alive — lions in the grass, leopards in shadow, giraffes standing still as sky. This is the wild, unfiltered and near.

Then onward to Victoria Falls — where the earth opens and mist rises in roar and light. Walk rainforest trails, feel the thunder beneath your feet, and watch the Zambezi spill toward horizon.

Next, the Okavango Delta — water and dust, channels that weave through green and gold. Glide by mokoro. Track elephants through shifting grass. Let the stillness stretch.

And finally, Cape Town. Mountain and sea. Colour and rhythm. Explore Bo-Kaap’s bright streets, sip wine in the Winelands, feel the city’s past and present move beneath your steps.

This is not a region — it’s a story in layers: wild, refined, and unforgettable.

This is where the raw and the polished meet — and neither lets go.

Day 1

Arrive in Johannesburg, then fly to Skukuza and enter the wild of Sabi Sand Reserve — where acacia trees line the horizon and the bush moves softly at dusk. Settle into camp as the light fades and the first sounds of the wild begin to rise — distant calls, shifting leaves, and the hush of something ancient.

Day 2

Begin and end the day on game drives through the reserve, where each hour reveals another rhythm: lions resting in tall grass, leopards slipping through shadow, and elephants moving with deliberate grace. In between, slow your pace — this is safari as it was meant to be, intimate and unrushed.

Day 3

Fly north to Victoria Falls, where the Zambezi River widens and the earth drops away. Settle at a riverside lodge and watch mist rise in the distance. Here, you trade grassland for water, predator for spray, and stillness for awe.

Day 4

Walk the rainforest trail beside the falls — where every step is soaked in sound and green light. In the afternoon, head into the bush again, this time in a quieter corner of wilderness where wildlife gathers in the afterglow of falling water.

Day 5

Cross into Botswana and fly into the Okavango Delta, a landscape shaped by water and air. From above, channels form patterns through grass and forest. Land among floodplains and reeds — a world both fluid and full of life.

Day 6

Drift silently by mokoro, where dragonflies hover and herons lift from still water. Later, take to open floodplains by vehicle — tracking elephants, listening for lions, and watching the sky mirror itself below. As dusk falls, the bush speaks differently — softer, but no less wild.

Day 7

Fly south to Cape Town, where city life curls around the base of Table Mountain and the sea holds its own quiet energy. Settle into the pace of the coast — a different wild, shaped by wind, waves, and culture.

Day 8

Wander through Cape Town’s layered history — from the colour of Bo-Kaap to the trees of the Company’s Garden, from craft stalls in Greenmarket Square to the edge of the mountain itself. It’s a day to trace stories, flavours, and the spirit of place.

Day 9

Follow the curve of the Cape Peninsula, where cliffs plunge into sea and the road bends with the land. Watch penguins gather at Boulders Beach, waves crash at Cape Point, and proteas bloom in the gardens of Kirstenbosch. Every stop a shift in texture — coastal, wind-worn, and full of wild detail.

Day 10

Depart with contrasts carried quietly within you — the dry rhythm of Sabi Sand, the breath of Victoria Falls, the mirrored hush of the delta, the curve of the Cape. Southern Africa stays with you — untamed, unforgettable, and alive in memory.
