Our representative will assist you with a seamless transfer and check-in at your hotel, ensuring a comfortable beginning to your adventure. After a brief rest, set out to explore the timeless charm of Old Delhi, once known as Shahjahanabad, the grand capital of the Mughal Empire. Visit the iconic Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, followed by a rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, famously known as "Silver Street," where vibrant markets and centuries-old heritage come to life. Drive past the majestic Red Fort, an architectural marvel that once housed Mughal royalty. In the afternoon, continue your journey through New Delhi, where colonial-era elegance blends with modern sophistication. Begin with a drive past Raisina Hill, home to the grand Rashtrapati Bhavan (the President’s Residence), the impressive Parliament House, and the iconic India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to fallen soldiers. Conclude your day with a visit to the towering Qutab Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the tallest brick minaret in the world, showcasing Indo-Islamic architecture at its finest. After a day filled with history, culture, and architectural splendour, return to your hotel for a relaxing evening, preparing for the adventures ahead.

Day 2

Start your day with a morning transfer to Delhi Airport, where you will board a flight to Leh Kushok Bakula Airport, one of the highest commercial airports in the world. This flight offers breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas, with the chance to witness legendary peaks such as K2, Nanga Parbat, and Gasherbrum on one side, while the towering Nun Kun Massif appears astonishingly close on the other. Upon arrival in Leh (Altitude: 11,000 feet), you will be warmly greeted by our representative and escorted to your hotel. Since you are ascending to a significant altitude from the plains of New Delhi, it is essential to take some time to rest and acclimatize. In the afternoon, take a leisurely walk through Leh’s bustling market, where you can explore traditional Tibetan artifacts, handicrafts, and local delicacies. Enjoy a peaceful evening before retiring for an overnight stay at your hotel, preparing for the adventures that await in this Himalayan paradise.

Day 3

After a refreshing breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the Indus Valley, where you will explore some of Ladakh’s most revered monasteries and historical sites. Located 15 km from Leh, Shey Palace sits atop a hillock and was once the royal residence of Ladakh’s rulers. Historically, it served as the seat of power for the pre-Tibetan kings. One of its most striking features is a 7.5-meter-high copper statue of Buddha, plated with gold—the largest of its kind in the region. Approximately 19 km from Leh, Thiksey Monastery is one of the most spectacularly located and architecturally stunning monasteries in Ladakh. This 12-story monastery is home to several temples that house exquisite images, stupas, and wall paintings of Buddha. Due to its grand structure, it is often referred to as the Mini Potala Palace, resembling Tibet’s iconic landmark. Situated 40 km from Leh, Hemis Monastery is the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. It is famous for its annual summer festival, held in honor of Guru Padmasambhava’s birth anniversary, attracting monks and visitors from across the region. The monastery also holds Ladakh’s largest Thangka (Buddhist scroll painting), which is displayed once every 12 years. Built in 1630 during the reign of King Singge Namgyal, Hemis is a significant center for Tibetan Buddhism. After a day of cultural and spiritual exploration, return to Leh for an evening at leisure and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 4

Begin your day with an early morning drive from Leh to Hemis Monastery, located 46 km away, to witness the Hemis Festival, one of Ladakh’s most celebrated cultural and spiritual events. This grand festival is dedicated to Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche), regarded as a reincarnation of Buddha and a key figure in Tibetan Buddhism. The festivities commence with a morning ritual atop the monastery, where the rhythmic beats of drums, clashing cymbals, and the haunting melody of traditional pipes create an electrifying spiritual atmosphere. A significant moment of the festival is the ceremonial unveiling of the sacred portrait of "Dadmokarpo" or "Rygyalsras Rinpoche", which devotees gather to admire and worship. One of the most fascinating aspects of the festival is the Chams Performance, or the Mystic Mask Dances of Ladakh. These esoteric dances are performed by monks adorned in elaborate costumes and vibrant masks, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. The Chams is an integral part of the Tantric Vajrayana tradition, and it is exclusively performed in monasteries that follow these ancient teachings. After an immersive day at the Hemis Festival, return to Leh for an overnight stay, reflecting on the rich traditions and spiritual energy of Ladakh.

Day 5

After an early breakfast at the hotel, embark on a picturesque drive to Likir (3,560m), located 58 km from Leh. Likir is the starting point of your exciting trek, offering stunning views of the rugged Ladakhi landscape. The trek begins with a steady ascent towards Phobe La Pass (3,667m). As you traverse this arid terrain, be prepared for warm conditions with little shade or water. Descending from Phobe La, you will pass through Sumdo Village, a small hamlet nestled amidst the mountains. The trail then ascends gradually to Chagatse La Pass (3,630m) before leading you to the charming village of Yangthang (3,530m), where you will set up camp next to a tranquil mountain stream. For those eager to explore further, the Rizdong Monastery, known for its serene ambiance and ancient Buddhist teachings, is about an hour’s walk south of Yangthang. Enjoy a night under the stars, camping in tents, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Ladakh’s high-altitude wilderness.

Day 6

After breakfast at the camp start your trek which takes you deep into Ulle Nalla, a breathtakingly remote valley above Yangthang, where you follow the Ulle Chhu stream through rugged terrain. This region is renowned as prime ibex country, offering a rare opportunity to witness the majestic Himalayan ibex, often seen standing gracefully on narrow ridges high above steep cliffs. Upon reaching Ulle Village, situated at the heart of three interlocking valleys, take some time to acclimatize to the higher altitude. According to the latest wildlife census, this area is home to approximately 12 snow leopards, making it one of the most promising locations for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. One of the key advantages of Ulle is its seclusion from mainstream tourism, allowing for an undisturbed wildlife experience. From here, you will have the chance to explore the surrounding valleys, known not only for snow leopards but also for sightings of urial (wild sheep), ibex, Himalayan wolves, and the elusive Himalayan fox. Spend the night in a camp, surrounded by the untouched beauty of Ladakh’s high-altitude wilderness, under a sky filled with countless stars.

Day 7

After breakfast at the camp start your trek which offers a relaxed and easy walk, as you descend gently towards Hemis Village, one of Ladakh’s most picturesque settlements. Named after the lush grove of cedars, the village is a striking contrast to the rugged, barren landscapes of the region. As you make your way down, you will encounter crystal-clear streams meandering through the valley, surrounded by shady willow trees. The sight of expansive barley fields adds a refreshing touch of greenery against the backdrop of rocky mountains, making the journey even more scenic and enjoyable. Upon arrival, settle into your campsite for the night, where you can unwind and soak in the serene beauty of this charming Ladakhi village.

Day 8

After breakfast at the camp start your trek which is beginning with a gradual ascent between two hillocks west of the village. The trail then veers south and climbs steeply toward Mebtak La (3,750m), a scenic mountain pass adorned with colourful prayer flags, marking the highest point of the day's journey. From the pass, the trail descends through a rugged gorge, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you make your way down, you will arrive at Ang Village, a charming settlement known for its lush apricot orchards and traditional Ladakhi homes. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in a tent, surrounded by the serene beauty of the village and the tranquillity of the Ladakhi countryside.

Day 9

After an early breakfast, begin your trek westward, descending gently through a lush green valley. After approximately one and a half hours, arrive at Tinmosgang Village, home to one of the oldest palaces in Leh, offering a glimpse into the region's rich heritage. The journey continues through the charming villages of Tia and Charcha, following a jeep track that winds its way through the scenic landscape. The trail then gradually ascends towards the base of Skindiyang Pass (4,060m). As you climb, the terrain transitions into a stark, boulder-strewn landscape, an area known for its elusive Snow Leopards and Blue Sheep. Reaching a col at 3,927m, you'll be rewarded with sweeping views of the dramatic wilderness surrounding you. A gentle 45-minute climb takes you to the summit of Skindiyang Pass, where prayer flags flutter in the mountain breeze. From here, the trail descends into a dry valley, leading towards a series of chortens (Buddhist shrines) perched above Skindiyang Village. The final 30-minute descent is slightly steeper as you approach Skindiyang, a traditional Ladakhi village, where you will spend your night in a tent, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the Himalayas.

Day 10

After breakfast at the camp, embark on a scenic drive back to Leh, stopping at two of Ladakh's most revered monasteries—Rizong Gompa and Alchi Monastery. Nestled in a remote valley, Rizong Monastery is known as the "Paradise for Meditation." Unlike other monasteries, there is no entry fee, and visitors can offer donations as per their wish. It is believed that Guru Padma Sambhava meditated here for several years, making it a spiritually significant site. The tranquil surroundings and the monastery’s peaceful ambiance provide an insight into the strict monastic discipline followed by the monks. Next, visit Alchi Monastery, also called Alchi Choskhor, renowned for its intricate murals and exquisite frescoes. Though the monastery is traditionally attributed to Rinchen Zangpo (958-1055 AD), some of the oldest preserved structures date back to the 12th century. The complex houses several temples, including The Temple of Manjushri, Lotsawa Lha-Khang, and Lha-Khang Soma, all adorned with stunning artwork depicting Buddhist teachings. After exploring these historic monasteries, continue the journey back to Leh, where you will check in at your hotel. Enjoy a delicious dinner and relax for an overnight stay in Leh.

Day 11

After breakfast, embark on a cultural and spiritual journey as you explore some of Ladakh’s most fascinating sites, including Matho Gompa, Stakna Monastery, and Stok Palace & Museum. Located 26 km southeast of Leh, Matho Gompa is the only monastery in Ladakh that follows the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism. Founded in the 16th century by Lama Tungpa Dorjay, the monastery was originally named Thupstan-Sharling Choskor. Matho is famous for its annual Oracle Festival (Matho Nagrang), where monks undergo intense meditation and emerge as oracles to predict the future. Next, visit Stakna Monastery, perched atop a hill shaped like a tiger’s nose, just 25 km south of Leh. This serene monastery was founded in 1580 during the reign of King Jamyang Namgyal by Saint Chosje Jamyang Palkhar. The monastery houses several Dukhangs (assembly halls) with stunning Buddhist murals, sculptures, and scriptures, offering breathtaking views of the Indus River Valley. Conclude the day with a visit to Stok Palace, the ancestral home of Ladakh’s royal family. Built in 1820 by King Tsepal Namgyal, the palace is a blend of Tibetan and Ladakhi architecture. Inside, explore the Stok Museum, which showcases traditional royal attire, intricate jewelry, ancient weapons, and religious artifacts, providing a deep insight into Ladakh’s regal past. After a day of exploration, return to Leh for a relaxing evening.

Day 12

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Leh Airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative, who will assist you with your transfer to Agra – the city of the iconic Taj Mahal. Enjoy a scenic drive to Agra, taking in the changing landscapes along the way. Upon reaching Agra, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax and unwind after the journey. The afternoon is free at your leisure—you can explore the city at your own pace or simply rest and prepare for the exciting experiences that await.

Day 13

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before setting out to explore one of the world’s most breathtaking landmarks—the Taj Mahal. A short Battery Car ride will take you to the entrance, where you can marvel at this masterpiece of Mughal architecture, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. After soaking in the beauty of the Taj Mahal, continue to the Agra Fort, a magnificent red sandstone fortress built by Emperor Akbar. Discover its ornate palaces, the Pearl Mosque, the Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), and the Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), which once housed the legendary Peacock Throne. Later, embark on a scenic drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport for your homebound flight, carrying with you unforgettable memories of your journey through India.
